2009
February: The first CO2 free Antarctic Research Station "Princess Elisabeth" starts operations. It is equipped with TUBO 12CPC collectors and SOLUS Thermal Stores.
June: Market launch of SOLAERA, a revolutionary solar heat pump system. With the SOLAERA system the dream of solar heating in our climate conditions becomes reality. The system covers 85% of the demand of a single family house and even works in winter and when the weather is bad.
August: The TUBO 12 CPC is replaced by the TUBO 12CI. The new collectors have a higher performance than their predecessors. Moreover, Consolar offers a 10-year warranty.
2008
March: Market launch of the pellet stove LENIUS.
May: Consolar can participate in the project "Antarctic at the south pool". The company competed with numerous other applicants - many of them are well-known. Consolar equips the first CO2 free research station "Princess Elisabeth" with the TUBO 12 CPC tube collectors and the SOLUS combination system.
2007
Receipt of the „Innovation Award“ for the solar heat pump system SOLAERA awarded by the Symposium for Thermal Solar Systems in Bad Staffelstein, Germany.
2006
Successful market launch of the evacuated tube collector TUBO. The new controller series CONTROL 601 replaces the series 600. Expansion of sales to Western and Southern European countries. Receipt of the „Jobmotor“ award for the region of Southern Baden-Württemberg due to Consolar’s exceptional growth in the number of employees in relation to the company as a whole.
2005
Introduction of the drain-back system SOLAR PUR. Conversion of Consolar’s production hall into a carbon dioxide free factory by employing 52 kWp photovoltaic systems. Production start of the TUBO 12 collector series. Receipt of „Ethics in Business“ award.
2003
Production start of the warm water storage tank COAX. In a test by the independent German Foundation for Testing Products (Stiftung Warentest) the SOLUS II system coupled with TUBO 11 CPC received by far the best rating with regard to efficiency („good“ (B)).
2002
The 10,000th storage tank with Consolar’s stratification technique is delivered.
2001
Expansion of the production - from a manufacturer of storage tanks to a supplier of complete systems through the development of tube and flat plate collectors and the relocation of the production into a larger hall.
1997
Start of production of the SOLUS series with patented solar heat exchanger.
1995
Start of production of CONUS warm water storage tanks.
1994
Foundation of Consolar by the engineers U. Leibfried, A. Siegemund, H. Stork und R. Konrad. Today, all of them are still owners and managers of the company.
